Conjunction Function

This video is a classic 'School of House Rock' production so I thought it would cool to post this as my thread(Plus, it was a part of my mini-lesson). Enjoy! Let me know what you think of the video. Peace. One.

I remember when was first seen on tv. Many times throughout the years I have played that song in my head to help me remember. It was pretty effective.

I love that song heh. That song gets stuck in your head very easily. It has actually survived over the years, and is still known by several different types of people of all ages. I am sure it helped several students over the years.

I also remember seeing that episode in school. It was the only one that actually stuck in my head.

I loved that you used it in your mini lesson! These songs really helped me when I first started learning grammar. My favorites were the adjectives and adverbs ones!!!!

I do not ever remember watching this video on my own time when I was little. We watched it in classes, but never at home. Hmm...it is still a cute little video though.

I enjoy these shows. They are a real good teaching tool for younger children. I remember watching these movies in grade school. It is a fun and easy way to teach your young students about grammar. The songs in the show are catchy and easy to remember. They children can recite the song when they are working on their homework to help them remember. I know in my little brother's class they sing songs for everything thing to help them remember what they are learning.

This is probably the most catchy grammar song ever. It really is helpful for young students to learn and remember the function of conjunctions.

I remember watching this video through 7th grade. I want to say I saw it in High School, but I think maybe we did. Either way, this is cute - I'm glad they came up with it.

I remember seeing this video in grade school. It also has special memories for me because my mom used to watch this when she was a little girl too! I guess it shows that some things never grow old!

I love school house rock!! This was a pretty cool video, used to watch it on ABC towards the end of the saturday morning cartoon line-up. They were fun, but they were also very educational.

I watched this video over and over when I was young. For a long time I did not really realize that it was teaching me grammar. I knew all of the words but did not make the connection that they were useful. One day I figured out that I had all of this information memorized. Great teaching tool.

I guess I have to comment on my own post. Doctor Voss said I have to post another thread since I used this video in my mini-lesson. If you did not comment on this post yet, you do not have to. For those of you who did thanks you for the comments.

This song is like a splinter, it gets stuck in your head whether you like it or not. It is really effective in what it does though. I really liked these videos, I never really got to watch them when I was little. I feel a little bit deprived.

This is good, it took me back to my school years and how I use to always watch that show and knew every song. :)
