That was really funny. I had no idea there were ninjas who are interested in grammar. We really need more of those. I, like the ninja, think that most things are either over or under used. I know that I use too many commas. Though I know that there are also times when I should use a comma and don't. I should probably learn more about comma usage. But if commas confuse ninjas, I don't feel too bad. Bryan Norbut
I agree that commas are overused and it can get confusing when and when not to use them. If in doubt, I usually throw one in there and have noticed that I have never been corrected for using a comma. I think many people do not know the exact rules on when or when not to use a comma all the time. I should probably look into commas more.
I liked the video clip on commas. I will admit I probably use more commas than I should. Teachers have told me I get a little comma crazy, but I think it gets confusing when to use them. I guess I rather over use than not use any at all. Teachers have told me to read my papers out loud and that is suppose to help me put my commas in the correct place. However, I am not sure if that does the trick.
I thought that the video was very funny. Many people often over use commas myself included. I think that a video like this is a good teaching tool for students because it adds comedy to learning, even something as uninteresting as commas.
I did not really get the video. The Ninja lost me a couple of times and I think it was a bit confusing because it was hard to understand his voice. I can understand that people use more commas than necessary but what was up with the camel and lama?
What a fun video! This is a great way for students to learn about commas and how they can be overused. I think students who do not enjoy learning grammar, may find an easier way to connect through such a humorous video. I think that You Tube can be a great learning resource for teachers.
haha, pretty funny. I think that the comma dilemna is pretty interesting. I sometimes get confused about using commas and semi-colons. I know that's terrible, but I get it confused sometimes. The video while silly was pretty enlightening.
Great post! Oh the dilemma of commas. I once heard that children learn the rules about commas at too early of an age. They aren't capable of understanding all of the rules yet, and this forever leaves them with a bad taste of commas. They believe that they can never understand and fail to ever learn something that might not be so hard now that they are older. Interesting.
Yeah commas are defintely either not used enough or used way too much generaly. I'll be honest, I don't remember all the comma official rules. I believe some rules for commas though are stylistic rules, and I tend to ignore those as not official rules.
This was interesting and kind of funny. I believe that the concern about the use of commas is over used. It doesn't matter whether or not they are over or under used. Some many people are concerned about the use of commas. Just get rid of the comma and use something else. We need to focus on the elements of grammar and punctuation. What about the semi-colon? People have forgotten about it. This was a very interesting take on commas and it is a fun way to bring the topic into discussion.

Ninjas and grammar in one video? Craziness! Nice addition to the blog, it is important to put some humor into the learning environment!!

I thought this ninja video about commas was hilarious. This video is agreat way for high school students to learn about commas. Very interesting.
I think that this video was awesome. Use of commas is such a hard area for students to understand. I still don't understand many rules myself.

It's hard to know exactly when to use a comma. There are so many rules! I think this video is a cute idea.

This was hilarious. Personally, I used to use plenty of commas. It does make the point without directly saying it.
